Karl Köhler GmbH Besigheim
Karl Köhler GmbH has completed construction of its office extension at its company headquarters in Besigheim. The new building also offers an event room, a rooftop terrace and underground parking in addition to new offices. It is connected to the old structure by a bridge. The materials used were drawn from those locally available in the region: exposed concrete with limestone aggregates, flooring made from local natural stone on the ground floor, oak window frames and parquet, glass partitions in the corridors.
The goal was to realise an environmentally-friendly and resource-efficient building with regenerative heating and cooling – a building in which the NauticProfil Nova-2 LED lamps by FLASHAAR play an important role as they offer maintenance-free life spans of 50,000 hours at lowest energy consumption and so constituted the optimum choice for the project.
As a result of its ability to satisfy the high demands that the building makes on proximate and absolutely homogeneous cove lighting, a decision was also made to install the NauticProfil Victory-4 system.
