With its curved arches and flowing rout, the new “Rosenau” cycle path bridge blends harmoniously into the floodplain landscape.
The aim of the new construction was to create an ecological and economical structure that provides a safe and direct connection to the existing cycle path network. In the process, conscious attention was paid to sustainable construction and the use of wood as a renewable raw material.
Warm white NauticProfil® Sta.-Maria-5 LED lines are integrated into the handrail of the approximately 85-metre-long bridge. These provide glare-free and continuous lighting. With the help of motion-induced control and optimal alignment of the luminaires, light emission is reduced to a minimum. This reduces light pollution and protects the flora and fauna of the so called “star city” Fulda.
