Schillerstraße Zweibrücken
The ‘Stadt am Wasser’ project – organised by the municipality of Zweibrücken and the state of the Rhineland-Palatinate – was launched with the aim of improving the quality of life in the town of Zweibrücken and enhancing its urban character. The feature lighting along the River Schwarzbach, Schillerstraße with Town Hall and Herzogplatz played a central role in the project.
The recently commenced initial phase of the project saw the installation of FLASHAAR NauticProfil LED lines using Victory-4 luminaire inserts produce attractive reflections on the water’s surface.
FLASHAAR LED lines were also installed to illuminate the benches along the Kastanienallee, which runs parallel to Schillerstraße, from underneath. The lighting designers used the FLASHAAR NauticProfil with Sta. Maria-4 LED lines here. These were cast in PU during production to ensure that they satisfied the demands set out in IP65.
FLASHAAR’s Solaris LED spotlights were also installed to illuminate the treetops along the avenue. Special PWM dimmers were fitted so that the RGBW spotlights may be used to bathe the trees in different colours of light and so create lighting scenes for all seasons and occasions.
