Lighting of the subway of the railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí
The railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí is one of the oldest in the Czech Republic and, together with the track that can be easily seen here, is a paradise for every railway enthusiast.
However, the station building from 1874, which stands in the middle of the tracks, was declared a cultural monument in 2010. As the overall condition of the station, the subway and especially the lighting situation was not satisfactory, the railway administration decided to carry out a comprehensive modernisation.
2021 was followed by the redesign of the underpass, which is the main connection between the platforms. What was required was high-quality and energy-efficient lighting that blends into the surrounding architecture with a simple and clear design and whose construction is vandalism-proof.
The FLASHAAR® NauticProfil® I2 surface-mounted profile was chosen for this purpose. Mounting on ceilings and walls is done with a mounting bracket into which the profile is inserted without tools. Equipped with the Navigator LED line, the indirect light of the NP I2 creates a soft and light room and, together with the wall paintings, a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to its design and the “plug & play” system, very simple and quick maintenance is guaranteed.
