District Square East | Mainz-Gonsenheim

A residential area with apartments for around 3,500 people has been built on a former barracks site in the Gonsenheim district of Mainz.
In the center are the WillyBrandt Platz, which was created several years ago, and the two new neighborhood squares East and West. Platz Ost offers a mix of open squares and sheltered seating areas that invite you to linger. The commissioned landscape architects from Bierbaum.Aichele chose FLASHAAR® NauticProfil® lights to illuminate the pergolas. They ensure uniform illumination of the pergolas both inside and outside. At the same time, they reinforce the open design without dark corners, which conveys a feeling of security even in the dark.
