Josef Eberle Bridge in Rottenburg

The Josef Eberle Bridge is an important link in the beautiful medieval town center of Rottenburg am Neckar. The construction of the bridge swings elegantly over the river as a three-span element made of prestressed concrete. Constant moisture and energy efficiency were the two central points for which a solution had to be found when installing new lighting in the handrail of the new bicycle bridge in Rottenburg.

In close cooperation with the engineering office Werner Sobek, the choice fell on the FLASHAAR® NauticProfil®.
In addition to the plug & play assembly principle, the key factors here were the flat cable carried in the system, which only allowed one electrical feed into the lighting system at each bridgehead, as well as low maintenance, durability and the significant energy-saving potential of the LED lights used. All necessary lighting details for the NauticProfil® system were determined in several detailed light calculations and a 1:1 sample construction. Color temperature 3000 K Beam angle 90°
Angle of incidence of the NauticProfil® in the handrail 30°
