Südertor Lippstadt railway underpass

After almost 9 years of planning, the Südertor level crossing was replaced by an underpass for cyclists and pedestrians.
The 150 m long structure, with water features on both sides and wide staircases, connects the south of the city center with the main pedestrian zone to the north. After dusk, the new underpass welcomes passers-by with a balanced lighting concept.
In addition to the bright and uniform basic lighting, long, continuous lines of light set exciting accents and show passers-by the way. The lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere and increases the feeling of security. For the linear lighting in the base area of the building, the choice fell on the NauticProfil® system from FLASHAAR®. The decisive factor was the possibility of being able to easily implement very long lines of light with just a few electrical feeds. The Plug&Play installation principle ensures that the lights can be installed quickly and in a time-saving manner. In addition, the LED technology used protects the environment and is also particularly easy to maintain.
