Berg mineral baths – modern baths with nostalgic charm

After 4 years of general renovation, the people of Stuttgart can once again swim in the sparkling healing waters of Stuttgart's most traditional mineral baths.
The "cult bath" in the palace park is one of three thermal baths in Stuttgart that are fed with natural mineral water. The aim of the refurbishment was to retain the style and distinctive retro character of the 1950s and to give it a contemporary interpretation in the redesign.
So you can still find the well-known wooden loungers, the summer changing rooms made of wood and cold showers with a lever mechanism. The outdoor area with the sunbathing lawn and the old trees has also been preserved, despite extensive work. Max Ackermann's glass window in the foyer is no longer flooded with daylight as part of the renovation and for fire protection reasons, but is illuminated by the FLASHAAR® NP Nova-5. The foyer, the central interface in the bathroom, has an open and transparent design.
Long, bright and energy-efficient LED lines with the NP Nova-5 ensure optimal lighting and underline the spacious and light-flooded atmosphere. A special highlight is the approx. 40 meter long line of light, which runs from the inside to the outside of the arcade. Thanks to the FLASHAAR® PremiumCoating, the LED line retains its uniform, linear appearance. The refractive index is unchanged, the color temperature of 3000 K constant. Our NP Defiant RGB lights are used in the sauna area. Hidden behind wooden slat walls, they provide indirect, colourful, harmonious mood lighting.
