NauticProfil® R1 – Installation profile for flush-mounted light lines
The NauticProfil® R1 is an aluminum profile for the flush integration of linear LED lighting into drywall partitions and suspended ceilings. Thanks to its narrow profile frame, the system blends almost invisibly into the architecture – only the light emission remains visible. This creates clean lines of light with a minimalist, timeless design.
The profile is suitable for emphasizing room edges, guiding sight lines, and showcasing architectural structures. Depending on the configuration, both homogeneous general lighting and targeted accent lighting can be achieved.
The slim frame design supports a clean, uncluttered wall and ceiling design and allows for the harmonious integration of lighting into modern architectural and interior design concepts. Light is thus not perceived as a separate design element, but rather as an integral part of the architecture.
For individual design, the NauticProfil® R1 is available in various finishes, including anodized aluminum, black anodized versions, and powder-coated special colors. This allows the profile to be optimally matched to material and color concepts.

The NauticProfil® R1 is mounted using clamps or retaining springs; alternatively, it can also simply be screwed in place.

NauticProfil® R2: Frameless integration of subtle light lines
The NauticProfil® R2 expands the possibilities of the NauticProfil® R1 by enabling the virtually frameless integration of linear LED light lines. With a visible joint width of only 35 mm, the profile blends discreetly into wall, ceiling, and drywall constructions, supporting minimalist architectural and interior design concepts.
The profile is suitable for flush integration into drywall and suspended ceilings, as well as for surface mounting on walls and ceilings. Furthermore, the NauticProfil® R2 can be integrated into furniture, handrails, and custom constructions, thus opening up diverse application possibilities for linear lighting.
The light source remains completely concealed, except for the actual light emission point. This creates homogeneous lines of light for wayfinding, accent lighting, or functional lighting concepts.
For easy installation, the aluminum profile features integrated mounting holes on a 150 mm grid and a centering line for additional drilling. Optionally, a cover can be clicked into the upper profile area without tools, allowing for a clean and easily accessible finish.
With its virtually frameless appearance, versatile mounting options and user-friendly details, the NauticProfil® R2 offers architects and lighting designers a flexible solution for reduced linear lighting concepts in indoor and outdoor areas.

The NauticProfil® R2 is screwed directly into place. Mounting holes are located in the profile base at 150 mm intervals for fastening. Additional holes can be drilled into the profile without center punching, thanks to the guide line in the base.

NauticProfil® R3 – Installation profile for filling and smoothing, for frameless light lines
The NauticProfil® R3 is an aluminum profile for the frameless integration of linear LED light lines into plasterboard walls and drywall ceilings. The profile is screwed flush to the substructure and then plastered over. This creates a light line permanently integrated into the wall or ceiling surface, where only the light emission point remains visible.
The robust profile design with generous bearing surfaces is suitable for single and double-layered drywall constructions. At the same time, the solid aluminum geometry promotes efficient heat dissipation and provides a stable foundation for precise drywall installation.
The NauticProfil® R3 is particularly suitable for long, continuous lines of light in office and administrative buildings, hotels, conference areas, as well as public and high-end private interiors. Its flush integration allows for a clean, minimalist architectural style where light is perceived as an integral part of the surface.
The integrated profile space offers ample room for mounting operating equipment and allows clean access for installation and maintenance, even when installed. Mounting recommendations, such as support structure and screw spacing, are described in the technical data sheet and support safe installation on site.

NauticProfil® R4 – Installation profile for linear light integration in ETICS facades
The NauticProfil® R4 is an aluminum profile for integrating linear LED lighting into plastered external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). It was developed in cooperation with an ETICS system manufacturer and is specifically tailored to the requirements of modern facade constructions.
The profile is inserted directly into the facade insulation and permanently fixed with PU adhesive. For proper integration into the facade structure, the use of a system-compatible reinforcing mesh is recommended. This mesh, along with the reinforcing mortar, is embedded flush with the profile flanks. This creates a permanently integrated light line within the facade, resulting in a clean and minimalist aesthetic.
With a visible joint width of only 35 mm, the NauticProfil® R4 blends discreetly into the facade surface. The stable profile geometry supports precise execution of plaster joints and ensures clean edges in facade details.
Additional milled recesses allow for the integration of slim control devices and installation within existing cavities. This enables even more complex lighting solutions to be implemented cleanly and discreetly.
With its construction specifically developed for ETICS, its virtually frameless integration and its easy-to-install details, the NauticProfil® R4 offers architects and facade planners a reliable solution for linear lighting concepts in residential, office, hotel and commercial buildings.

The NauticProfil® R4 can be directly embedded in a facade insulation panel and plastered over, creating a seamless, modern look. The combination of the R4 profile and optional reinforcing mesh allows for precise and flush application of the facade plaster. The mesh supports even stress distribution within the plaster structure and helps to permanently minimize cracking at the joints.
By milling out recesses in the profile – please specify when ordering – correspondingly narrow converters (< 25 mm) and installations can be concealed within the profile in suitable cavities in the ceiling or wall, even after installation. The recesses are later covered by the light fixture inserts.

NauticProfil® R5: Perfect shadow gaps with indirect lighting for drywall ceilings
The NauticProfil® R5 is an aluminum shadow gap profile for creating indirect lighting in drywall partitions and ceilings. With a visible joint width of 32 mm, it allows for the creation of precise shadow gaps and a clean transition between wall and ceiling surfaces.
The profile is suitable for both classic plasterboard ceilings and sprayed plaster ceilings. Whether used as a continuous light channel along the room's contours or for targeted illumination of wall and ceiling junctions, it creates homogeneous, indirect lines of light with a subtle architectural impact.
A key feature of the NauticProfil® R5 is its plug-and-play installation principle. The luminaire inserts can be installed quickly and without tools. Thanks to the patented contact technology with integrated through-wiring, long lines of light can be created with just a few power supply points. This reduces installation effort and simplifies assembly, maintenance, and future replacement of the luminaire inserts.
The stable aluminium construction ensures precise integration into the drywall and supports a clean execution of the shadow gap.

The NP R5 shadow gap profile is suitable for use with plasterboard ceilings/panels and sprayed plaster ceilings. This drywall profile enables the simple and high-quality creation of horizontal or vertical shadow gaps with indirect lighting.

NauticProfil® profile colors
FLASHAARNauticProfil® systems can be color-matched to any room concept thanks to individual, high-quality anodized or powder-coated finishes. In addition to the standard colors anodized aluminum (E6EV1), matte black anodized (E6C14), and traffic white powder-coated (TWP RAL 9016), further colors are available for profiles, NP lighting inserts, and end plates.
Anodized surfaces provide a very high level of protection against mechanical stress and offer excellent resistance to weathering and corrosion. Upon request, we can also supply the system components in any individual RAL and anodized color.
