Based on a unique plug & play technology for lights, we have been developing and producing LED system kits for over 16 years.
Research and development, sales and production work hand in hand and in close cooperation under one roof. We see ourselves as a manufacturer because we do everything by hand, from design to manufacture. Our goal: growth in harmony with environmental and climate protection. Our energy-saving lighting solutions replace old lighting with high energy requirements, thereby saving large amounts of climate-damaging CO ₂ . We pay attention to short transport routes to our suppliers and resource-saving production. We only use non-toxic and recyclable materials. Thanks to Plug&Play technology, our LED light inserts can be replaced without tools.

FLASHAAR® is one of the TOP100!

In 2021 we were able to prove our innovative strength for the second time in a scientific selection process. On behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the TOP 100 innovation competition, the innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team demonstrate the innovative power of FLASHAAR LEDLight GmbH & Co. KG. The researchers used around 120 test criteria from five categories: innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovative success.

Since 1993, compamedia has been awarding the TOP 100 seal for special innovative strength and above-average innovative success to medium-sized companies. The scientific management has been in the hands of Prof. Dr. Nicholas Franke. TOP 100's mentor is science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. Project partners are the Fraunhofer Society for the Promotion of Applied Research and the BVMW association of medium-sized companies.

IP PremiumCoating patented for the NauticProfil® With a conventional PU covering potting (IP65), shifts in the color coordinates cannot be avoided. With our specially developed, now patented IP PremiumCoating, the color coordinates of the LED light inserts remain constant.

2022

FLASHAAR® invests in a new casting machine from DEMAK. The CNC dosing machine is equipped with vacuum tanks and has an automated potting path of 3000 x 500 mm. It was specially made for the high-quality LED encapsulation with polyurethane. Different encapsulation colors and degrees of hardness, from soft, scratch-resistant to glass-hard, are no longer a problem thanks to the new encapsulation system.

The Humboldt Forum in the Berlin Palace shines with lights from
FLASHAAR®. A total of more than 1.1 km of linear luminaires from FLASHAAR® illuminate the collections and areas of the palace.

FLASHAAR LEDLight is one of the TOP 100! FLASHAAR LEDLight GmbH & Co. KG from Bingen made it among the best at the 26th edition of the TOP 100 innovation competition. In the independent selection process, the 19-strong company impressed with its innovative success.

Acquisition of an almost 8m ² CNC portal milling machine for 2.5D processing of lamp housings. This allows several parts to be processed simultaneously, precisely and quickly. An important prerequisite for series production.

FLASHAAR LEDLight celebrates: ten years of success on the market. In the anniversary year, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg will be opened - and FLASHAAR profiles and spotlights direct the visitors' eyes to the organ, which is unique in the world, the central acoustic reflector and more than 800 steps in the Great Hall. A casting plant enables the production of sealed LED lights at the Bingen am Rhein site.

FLASHAAR LEDLight sets up its own light laboratory with a far-field goniometer and offers precise photometric data for all lights.

Expansion of production capacity with an NC-controlled under-table chop and miter saw and a CNC drilling milling machine.

A patent is pending for the NauticProfil® – originally designed for use in yacht building, it has established itself as a modular system for sophisticated indoor and outdoor lighting.

The old bridge in Heidelberg shines with modern LED contour lighting from FLASHAAR®. A plug+play profile system is specially developed. Special lights stage the Rhein-Nahe-Eck not far from the company headquarters and Boehringer Ingelheim relies on lighting systems from FLASHAAR® for the staff restaurant.
