Ludwigslust Palace is surrounded by an English landscape park in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It was built between 1772 and 1776. The baroque palace in the town of the same name was the main residence of the Dukes of Mecklenburg-Schwerin until 1873 and today houses the Schwerin State Museum. The historically furnished rooms make it possible to experience the courtly art and living culture of the 18th and 19th centuries.
In 2016, the castle was extensively renovated and the east wing was made accessible to visitors for the first time. In the course of the construction work, the Golden Hall - the heart of the palace - received new lighting. For this, the lighting planners from the commissioned Atelier de Luxe relied on the FLASHAAR® NauticProfil® system.
Lines of light on the gallery flood the walls with warm white light, highlighting the decorative pillars, wall panels and wall moldings. They were fitted with asymmetrical lenses and mounted on angled mounts. Four NauticProfil® lights also stage the two corner figures in the room. Matching the magnificent golden interior of the ballroom, NP Line Radiant light inserts with a color temperature of 2,700 K and a high color rendering index Ra >90 are used for the lighting.
