The railway station in Ústí nad Orlicí is one of the oldest in the Czech Republic and, together with the clearly visible route, it is a paradise for every railway fan. The station building from 1874, which stands in the middle of the tracks, was declared a cultural monument in 2010. Since the overall condition of the station, the underpass and in particular the lighting situation was not satisfactory, the railway administration decided to carry out a comprehensive modernization.
The underpass, which is the main connection between the platforms, was redesigned in 2021. What was required was high-quality, energy-efficient lighting that blends into the surrounding architecture with a simple and clear design and whose construction is vandalism-proof. The NauticProfil® I2 construction profile from FLASHAAR® was selected for this.
It is mounted on ceilings and walls with a suitable mounting bracket, into which the profile is inserted without tools. Equipped with the LED-Line Navigator, the indirect light of the NP I2 creates a soft and bright room and, together with the wall paintings, a pleasant atmosphere. Thanks to its design and the "Plug&Play" system, a very easy and quick maintenance is guaranteed.
