Aluminum is an essential component of our lights. Besides its low density, it has good thermal conductivity; however, its production is unfortunately also associated with high CO2 emissions .
From now on, we will be using Hydro REDUXA for our aluminum profiles – an aluminum with one of the best climate footprints. Thanks to the use of renewable energy sources such as water, wind, and sun, this aluminum is produced cleaner than ever before, and its CO2 footprint is reduced to a quarter of the values typical worldwide.
Hydro REDUXA has a carbon footprint of 4.0 kg of carbon dioxide per kg of aluminum.
