Steady and sustainable growth remains the recipe for success for FLASHAAR LEDLight GmbH & Co.KG, based in Bingen am Rhein. The company, specializing in the production of lighting fixtures, is investing a six-figure sum at its headquarters in its 11th year of operation. Lighting fixtures for the Elbphilharmonie concert hall were also manufactured in Bingen. "Preserving jobs and maintaining healthy, steady growth are very important to us. We see greater vertical integration as an opportunity to respond even faster to the individual needs of our customers," explains Swen Flashaar-Bloedorn, owner and managing director, describing the acquisition of an almost 8m² CNC portal milling machine for 2.5D machining of the lighting fixture housings.

A tour of the production facilities quickly reveals the meticulous care with which the lights are crafted here, based on the company's own modular system. The production process itself showcases state-of-the-art machinery, from an NC crosscut saw and a CNC milling machine to a CNC PU potting robot and an in-house far-field goniometer. The motivation and passion of the employees are also outstanding. One senses that these are lights created with the quality standard "made in Germany.".
