As a company, we place great value on sustainability, efficiency, and growth in harmony with our environment. Our innovative profile systems and energy-efficient lighting solutions replace old, energy-intensive lighting systems and make a significant contribution to improving the climate footprint by saving large amounts of climate-damaging CO2 .

The principle behind our NauticProfil® modular system is that our lighting inserts, profiles, and necessary accessories are designed for flexible combination. Everything fits together seamlessly. Depending on the requirements and project, individual components can be selected to meet the specific needs of the users. The possibilities offered by our NauticProfil® modular system are diverse, countless, and sustainable.

We prioritize short transport routes to our suppliers and resource-efficient manufacturing. We exclusively use pollutant-free and almost 100% recyclable materials. Thanks to plug-and-play technology, our LED light inserts can be replaced quickly and without tools.

We place great importance on the high quality of the materials used in our production. For example, we look for extremely UV-resistant or impact-resistant materials to protect our lights from weathering and vandalism and to ensure a long service life.

Our luminaires are virtually unlimited indoor use. The only wear parts are typically the dimmer and converter, which have a standard lifespan of 5-10 years depending on ambient and operating temperatures. After this time, these components must be replaced .

Our luminaires have a lifespan of 10-20 years when used outdoors . In protected installation situations, they can last even longer. Towards the end of their service life, the luminaire inserts can be refurbished or completely replaced, depending on their condition. The flat cable and mounting profiles are typically reused. This saves resources and is extremely sustainable.

Investing in durable, high-quality products pays off. For our LEDs , we exclusively use aluminum core circuit boards, which are assembled specifically for us in Germany. They offer optimal cooling and the best light output, a long lifespan (L90/B10 well over 100,000 hours), and low failure rates.

What does that mean in practice? Our lights are designed to function reliably for 100,000 hours. To make this more tangible:

  • With an average operating time of 10 hours per day, the lifespan is more than 27 years.
  • Even with more intensive use of 16 hours a day, the lights last for over 17 years.

This means less maintenance, reduced spare parts costs, and a sustainable investment for your projects. Our luminaires offer exceptional longevity: L90/B10 > 100,000 hours. This means that after more than 100,000 operating hours, 90% of the luminaires still deliver at least 90% of their original light output. Only 10% of the luminaires fall below this mark during this period.

In practice: With 12 hours of daily use, this equates to a lifespan of over 22 years. Even with continuous 24-hour operation, the lifespan is still over 11 years – all with minimal maintenance and outstanding light quality. This makes our luminaires the perfect choice for projects where reliability, efficiency, and long-term planning are paramount.

All our luminaires are designed to be energy-efficient, age-resistant, weatherproof, and easy to maintain, and are 100% recyclable. If any luminaire is defective or has reached the end of its lifespan, we guarantee a refurbishment. This means we replace old components, equip the luminaire with new, modern circuit boards, and reinstall them in the existing profiles. This conserves resources and is extremely cost-effective.

For our aluminum profiles , we use Hydro REDUXA – an aluminum with one of the world's best climate footprints. We are committed to continuously optimizing our products and materials with a focus on our environmental impact. Aluminum is an essential component of our luminaires. Besides its low density and excellent thermal conductivity, its production is unfortunately associated with high CO₂ emissions. Hydro REDUXA offers a sustainable solution: Renewable energy sources, such as hydropower, reduce the aluminum's CO₂ emissions to a quarter of the global average!

DIN EN ISO 9001 certifies our quality-oriented development, manufacturing, and sales processes according to established standards. We ensure that our products and services meet ever-increasing customer demands and maintain consistently high quality. Every luminaire is tested for light output and quality before delivery. In our in-house lighting laboratory, we measure luminaires using a state-of-the-art far-field goniometer and provide precise light distribution curves. This guarantees continuous quality assurance and simultaneously provides insights for the ongoing development and improvement of our products.

DIN EN ISO 14001 certification demonstrates our awareness of our environmental responsibility. We actively work to optimize resource use and thereby improve our sustainability. Short supply chains protect the environment, save time and money, and enable us to intervene and react quickly to change requests.

We offer a resource-saving and waste-reducing service. Should a light fixture be defective, or should old lights need to be replaced with new, more efficient ones, this is easily accomplished thanks to our Plug&Play installation. Only the affected light fixture insert is replaced; the installed NauticProfil® system remains in place on/in the ceiling or wall as before. This eliminates complex wiring, significantly reduces installation work, and simultaneously lowers emissions generated by production and transportation. Other lights in the installed system are not affected by the failure or replacement of individual fixtures. This is due to the integrated through-wiring, based on our patented contacting technology.
