The Hessian town of Herborn has a new community center, designed by the Frankfurt-based architectural firm Studiobornheim. Flexible use for a variety of events was a key focus in the design of this modern and bright building. For the lighting of the wood-paneled interiors, the architects, in collaboration with the lighting designers at Flashaar Ingenieure, opted for delicate and energy-efficient LED linear luminaires.
In the main hall, FLASHAAR NauticProfil® luminaires are installed flush with the ceiling. Each of the 4,000 K linear luminaires incorporates three directional NauticProfil® Focus luminaires with a color temperature of 3,000 K. This allows the light to be perfectly adapted to different uses of the rooms. For example, at a festive event, the warm white, direct light enhances the cozy atmosphere, while the neutral white, diffused light is ideal as task lighting for conferences and meetings. The linear luminaires and spotlights can be switched and dimmed independently. FLASHAAR
® NauticProfil® light lines were also installed as basic lighting for the stage, in the sanitary facilities and in the outdoor area
