The Josef Eberle Bridge is an important link in the beautiful medieval town center of Rottenburg am Neckar. The bridge's structure, a three-span prestressed concrete element, arches elegantly over the river. Constant moisture and energy efficiency were the two key considerations for which solutions had to be found when installing new lighting in the handrail of the new bicycle bridge in Rottenburg.
FLASHAAR system was selected . Decisive factors included the plug-and-play mounting principle, the integrated flat cable (which allowed for a single electrical feed into the lighting system at each bridgehead), low maintenance, longevity, and the significant energy-saving potential of the LED lights used. All necessary lighting specifications for the NauticProfil® system were determined through detailed lighting calculations and a 1:1 scale prototype. Color temperature: 3000 K
; Beam angle: 90°;
Tilt angle of the NauticProfil® in the handrail: 30°
