Maritime Security Centre

The Maritime Security Center (MSZ) is a communication and cooperation network for operational forces of the federal government and the coastal states responsible for maritime security, headquartered in Cuxhaven. In the interest of national and international shipping and safety off the German coast, information is exchanged and operations are optimally coordinated based on shared situational awareness.
The new building for the Maritime Security Center, located on the grounds of the Cuxhaven Waterways and Shipping Authority, was opened in February 2017.
Approximately 60 meters of FLASHAAR Victory-4 linear lighting were used for the stair handrail. These provide homogeneous light and safety on the stairs and enhance the architectural charm. They also visually improve the building. The Victory-4 is distinguished by its absolutely homogeneous light with virtually invisible light points, at 120 light points per meter.
