Mineralbad Berg – Modern bathroom with nostalgic charm

After four years of extensive renovations, Stuttgart residents can once again swim in the invigorating thermal waters of the city's most traditional mineral bath. This iconic bath in the palace gardens is one of three thermal baths in Stuttgart fed by natural mineral water.
The goal of the renovation was to preserve the style and distinctive retro character of the 1950s while reinterpreting it in a contemporary way. Thus, the familiar wooden loungers, wooden summer changing rooms, and cold showers with a lever mechanism can still be found. The outdoor area with its lawn and mature trees has also been preserved despite the extensive work. Due to the renovation and for fire safety reasons, the Max Ackermann stained-glass window in the foyer is no longer illuminated by natural light but by the FLASHAAR NP Nova-5.
The foyer, the central hub of the baths, is designed to be open and transparent. Long, bright, and energy-efficient LED strips with the NP Nova-5 provide optimal lighting and emphasize the spacious and light-filled atmosphere.
A particular highlight is the approximately 40-meter-long line of light that extends from the interior to the exterior arcade. Thanks to the FLASHAAR PremiumCoating, the uniform, linear appearance of the LED line is maintained. The refractive index remains unchanged, and the color temperature of 3000 K is constant. Our NP Defiant RGB luminaires are used in the sauna area. Concealed behind wooden slat walls, they provide indirect, colored, and harmonious ambient lighting.
