Plenary Hall Wiesbaden

FLASHAAR FLASHAAR developed a lighting concept for the plenary hall in Wiesbaden, which was subsequently implemented. The existing chandeliers were retained and retrofitted with LED technology. This preserves the original design intent of the room/lighting element. The supplementary ambient lighting provided by downlights and indirect light lines blends almost seamlessly into the existing ceiling geometry. As a result, there are virtually no alterations to the room's design.
In addition to meeting the requirements of historic preservation, workplace requirements are also met by increasing the average illuminance to at least 300 lux and are further optimized through the combination of direct and indirect light.
All luminaires are dimmable, allowing for the precise pre-setting of different lighting moods tailored to various uses. Our lighting concept envisioned the following lighting mood:

  • festive lighting, for example receptions...
  • Work lighting, for example for meetings, congresses...
  • Panel discussions
  • Media presentation, for example cinema
