PWC facilities in Lower Saxony

Restrooms with a fresh design: A series of encased public restroom facilities are currently being built along Lower Saxony's highways, designed with hygiene, safety, and user acceptance in mind. The plans by the architectural firm gruppeomp have received numerous awards, including the "max 45" competition for young architects in Lower Saxony. Precast
concrete elements, steel, and sign-like printed entrance facades define the structure of the buildings, incorporating materials commonly used in highway construction. The spaced-off grating facades create interesting lighting effects and protect the concrete modules from vandalism.
For lighting, the architects have opted for the FLASHAAR NauticProfil® system. Inside, NauticProfil® Nova light lines provide ample brightness. Outside, the NauticProfil® Focus bathes the facade in bright light, ensuring safe illumination without dark corners. The LED lines also highlight the roof overhangs and the large logo pictogram of the facilities. All lights were manufactured with a color temperature of 4000 K and potted with polyurethane during production to protect against moisture according to protection class IP65.
