New cycle bridge – centerpiece of the Fulda city park

With its sweeping curves and flowing path, the new "Rosenau" cycle bridge blends harmoniously into the floodplain landscape. The aim of the new construction was to create an ecologically and economically sound structure that provides a safe and direct connection to the existing cycle path network. Particular attention was paid to sustainable construction methods and the use of wood as a renewable resource.

Warm white NauticProfil® Sta.-Maria-5 LED strips are integrated beneath the handrail of the approximately 85-meter-long bridge. These provide glare-free and continuous illumination. Motion-activated control and optimal alignment of the light sources minimize light emission. This reduces light pollution and protects the flora and fauna of the "star city" of Fulda.
