Railway underpass Südtor Lippstadt

After nearly nine years of planning, the level crossing at Südertor has been replaced by an underpass for cyclists and pedestrians. The 150-meter-long structure, featuring water features on both sides and wide staircases, connects the southern part of the city center with the main pedestrian zone to the north.
At dusk, the new underpass welcomes its users with a well-balanced lighting concept. In addition to bright and uniform ambient lighting, long, continuous lines of light create striking accents and guide pedestrians. The lighting thus creates a pleasant atmosphere and enhances the feeling of safety.
FLASHAAR was chosen . The decisive factor was the ability to easily implement very long lines of light with only a few electrical feeds. The plug-and-play mounting principle ensures quick and time-saving installation of the luminaires. Furthermore, the LED technology used is environmentally friendly and also particularly easy to maintain.
