Wilhelmspalais Stuttgart

The palace was built by court architect Giovanni Salucci, commissioned by King Wilhelm I of Württemberg for his daughters, Princesses Marie and Sophie. Since then, it has experienced a turbulent history: the end of the monarchy in Württemberg, partial destruction during World War II, and reconstruction in the 1960s.
At the beginning of 2014, conversion to the StadtPalais – Museum for Stuttgart began. The new city museum opened on April 14, 2018, after four years of construction.
The lighting designers, LDE BELZNER HOLMES, used our Nova-4 LED luminaire to accentuate the coffered ceiling and to highlight the skylights with their fold-out birchwood flaps, which allow the light to be adjusted.
