Donation fire brigade

A generous donation for the fire department

peti General

Firefighters often have a dangerous job. Even if they are trained in courses and exercises to assess and deal with dangers, there is always a residual risk. In some missions, physically demanding work, heat, electrical hazards, hazardous materials and other factors can put rescuers themselves in danger and cause a medical emergency.

Firefighters must also be able to take life-saving measures themselves to bridge the time until the emergency services and paramedics arrive, or to support them in their efforts.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Corneli rescue service FLASHAAR ® LEDLight company Bingen-Stadt Fire Department's support association , the Bingen fire department's first aid equipment has now been expanded to include an emergency backpack with extensive equipment and an automated external defibrillator (AED) for resuscitation, valued at over €1,200.

The previous equipment with a first-aid box corresponding to the standard could thus be significantly improved. In the event of an emergency, much more far-reaching and effective assistance is now possible. Precisely because the Bingen-Stadt unit has several comrades in its ranks who are trained as paramedics or paramedics or who work full-time in the rescue service. The equipment is loaded onto the emergency fire-fighting vehicle, which is the first to be deployed in almost all operations.

Unit leader Marco Woog thanked the donors on behalf of the Bingen fire brigade for this meaningful and unbureaucratic support.
