airport Zurich

The entire ceiling area of the new access road at Zurich Airport shines in a new light. It was completely equipped with LED lights – spotlights, light fields, and even light lines from FLASHAAR FLASHAAR were used for this purpose.
Before the redesign, the access roads were regularly overloaded, leading to traffic chaos all the way to the motorway. The focal point of the new access road is the gigantic 350-meter-long roof structure, which integrates perfectly into the appearance of the modern airport. To ensure all safety and technical requirements are met, approximately 600 new LED lights were installed here. Despite the illuminated area being twice the size compared to before, the power consumption is only around a third. This lowers electricity costs, and the long service life of the LED lighting also reduces maintenance costs.
The NauticProfil® system is used, which enables long light lines with even illumination and is easy to install thanks to plug-and-play assembly. A total of approximately 133 meters of the Nova-3 line with 3000 K were installed at the airport. The product was rounded off by PU encapsulation, which protects the luminaires from dust and water jets.
