The Hessian town of Herborn has a new community center, built according to plans by the Frankfurt-based architectural firm Studiobornheim. Flexible use for a variety of events was a key focus in the design of this modern, bright building. To illuminate the wood-clad interior, the architects, in collaboration with the lighting designers at Flashaar Ingenieure, opted for delicate, energy-efficient LED linear luminaires. FLASHAAR
installed flush with the ceiling are used in the large hall . Three directional NauticProfil® Focus luminaires with a color temperature of 3,000 K are integrated into each of the 4,000 K lines. This allows the light to be perfectly adapted to the different uses of the rooms. At a festive event, for example, the warm white, direct light emphasizes the cozy atmosphere, while the neutral white, diffuse light is ideal as task lighting for conferences and meetings. The lines and spotlights can be switched and dimmed independently of one another. FLASHAAR
® NauticProfil® light lines were also installed as basic lighting for the stage, in the sanitary rooms and in the outdoor area
