Maritime Security Center

The Maritime Security Center (MSZ) is a communications and cooperation network for maritime security operations of the federal government and the coastal states, headquartered in Cuxhaven. In the interest of national and international shipping, as well as security off the German coast, information is exchanged, and operations are optimally coordinated based on shared situational awareness.
The new building for the Maritime Security Center on the grounds of the Cuxhaven Waterways and Shipping Authority was opened in February 2017.
Approximately 60 meters of the FLASHAAR ® Victory-4 light line were used for the handrail of the stairs. They provide uniform light and safety on the stairs and underscore the charm of the architecture. They also visually enhance the building. The Victory-4 impresses with its absolutely uniform light with invisible light points at 120 light points per meter.
