Südertor Lippstadt railway underpass

After almost nine years of planning, the Südertor level crossing was replaced with an underpass for cyclists and pedestrians. The 150 m long structure, with water features on both sides and wide staircases, connects the southern part of the city center with the main pedestrian zone to the north.
After dusk, the new underpass welcomes pedestrians with a balanced lighting concept. In addition to the bright and uniform ambient lighting, long, continuous lines of light create exciting accents and guide pedestrians. The lighting thus creates a pleasant atmosphere and increases the feeling of security.
FLASHAAR was chosen . The decisive factor was the ability to easily create very long lines of light with only a few electrical feeds. The plug & play assembly principle ensures quick and time-saving installation of the luminaires. In addition, the LED technology used is environmentally friendly and particularly easy to maintain.
