The spaces between the new wooden slat ceiling provided room for a narrow lighting profile. The Nova 4 lighting profiles act as pathway guides and serve as subtle, diffused ambient lighting. Their dynamic arrangement and varying lengths guide restaurant patrons through the space. Despite the different ceiling heights, the lighting level was maintained consistently throughout.
The lighting concept is an interplay of different light characteristics. Indirect light highlights the entrance area and the counter/bar with its copper cladding; the 2700 K illumination makes the copper appear to "glow." The soft, diffused ambient lighting extends throughout the entire restaurant.
In the seating area with its lower ceiling height, the ambient lighting is supplemented with direct, focused light using lens optics, creating brilliant, targeted accents without glare. Various switching groups allow for the creation of lighting scenes that can be accessed via a wall-mounted tablet.
