Steady and sustainable growth remains the recipe for success of FLASHAAR LEDLight GmbH & Co.KG, based in Bingen am Rhein. The company, which specializes in the manufacture of lighting, is making a six-figure investment in its headquarters in its 11th year of existence. Lights for the Elphi were also manufactured in Bingen. "Maintaining jobs and ensuring steady, healthy growth are very important to us. We see greater vertical integration as an opportunity to respond even more quickly to our customers' individual needs," says Swen Flashaar-Bloedorn, owner and managing director, describing the purchase of an almost 8m² CNC gantry milling machine for 2.5D machining of the lighting housings.
A tour of the production rooms quickly shows the love with which lights are manufactured here based on the in-house modular system. Similar to the production process, there are state-of-the-art machines from an NC cross-cut and miter saw, a CNC drilling machine, a CNC PU casting robot to an in-house far-field goniometer. The motivation and passion of the employees is also outstanding. You can feel: this is where lights are created with the quality standard “made in Germany”.
